The Alchemists' Daughters

An exhibition by Helen Perrett and Susan St Lawrence

The Alchemists' Daughters is the eighth joint exhibition by Helen and Susan. This time the works of Surrealist artist Remedios Varo sparked their muse and the characters and objects of the ensuing Alchemists' Daughters story range from alter-egos to alchemic vessels.

Helen and Susan (and their dogs) met while studying ceramics and their mutual enjoyment of narrative sculpture, mystical lands and uncanny stories sealed their friendship and spawned their ceramic odyssey.
