The Grassroots Trust Festival Hub is at the heart of the festival; either before or after a show, or just as a place for the whole whānau to come along and experience the festival vibes. The Good George bar will be serving up a range of their Hamilton-brewed beverages, while Gourmet In The Gardens expands out with food trucks present every night of the festival. Relax and enjoy the entertainment provided by  a wide range of local performers on the Stage of Enlightenment sponsored by the University of Waikato. 

Wednesday 19 February 

5.00pm-7.00pm: Parabola West : Gorgeous, lush, music inspired by science and nature.

7.30pm-9.30pm: Kind A’Jazz : Jazz and popular music from the the 40s-80s. 


Thursday 20 February 

5.00pm-7.00pm: University of Waikato showcase: Highlighting some of the creative talent within the university community 

7.30pm-9.30pm: Dan Sharp:  A singer-songwriter fusing blues and roots with soul, southern rock and funk.


Friday 21 February 

5.00pm-7.00pm: June Potifara: Vocal wonders from these upcoming classical singers.

7.30pm-9.30pm: Alyson Wonderband: Fun covers of all the songs you love.


Saturday 22 February 

5.00pm-7.00pm: Melissa Cox: A thoughtful fusion of folk, world, and celtic music.

7.30pm-9.30pm: Ben James Leo: Connecting garage rhythms with choral harmonies and organic samples. 


Sunday 23 February 

5.00pm-7.00pm: Sylvia’s Toaster: A uke group with songs about love, hate, revenge and knitting.
