Hamilton Pools comprises of Waterworld (Garnett Ave in Te Rapa/Forest Lake) and Gallagher Aquatic Centre (22 Collins Road, next to Melville High School), and both facilities are owned and operated by Hamilton City Council.

If you are in need of a fun filled day, rain or shine, visit Waterworld - one of New Zealand's largest aquatic centres.

Need to keep the kids busy? Come and relax poolside while your children shoot down the hydroslides or play on the fun inflatables.

Waterworld's outdoor Splashpad area offers a safe and fun water playground for your under 8 year olds.

There is a fun and safe playground suitable for children under 10 years of age.

Do some serious training upstairs at Waterworld in their very own Club Aqua Gym or downstairs in the public swimming lanes.

Or just visit and have a family BBQ outside at their great picnic area or enjoy the on-site cafe.

Gallagher Aquatic Centre 

Our city also boasts a boutique swimming facility featuring two indoor pools, a picnic area with gas barbeque for hire and an outdoor children's playground located at 22 Collins Road, Melville.

Saturday -Sunday  7.30am - 8.00pm 
Public Holidays Closed are Christmas Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day
Other public holidays open 10.00am-6.00pm
