As a horse stud it is one of New Zealand’s foremost venues for thoroughbred sales. It also offers a fully serviced agistment and training facility for future champion racehorses.

 

The venue lends itself well also to special events and functions such as weddings and animal shows. The Horse Magic brand refers to an extravaganza showcasing horses dressed in costume presented to you by a ringmaster. Audience participation is encouraged.

 

Stud tours are also offered, where visitors are able to meet some past champions such as Rough Habit and other Melbourne Cup winners.
