Te Aroha
Te Aroha is a late Victorian/early Edwardian spa town, where visitors have come for over 120 years to 'take the waters' at the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain. The hot mineral pools and the world's only hot soda water geyser are located at the base of Mt. Te Aroha (952m).
Bushwalking, tramping, exploring old gold mining sites and mountain biking are some of the key features popular with visitors.
Te Aroha has many historic buildings, art galleries and antique shops.
